HOME BUILDERS RESEARCH, INC. was established in 1987. The firm was formed by Dennis L. Smith, its President and CEO. The company is acknowledged as the premier housing research firm in the Las Vegas housing market.

Home Builders Research, Inc. is unique in that it maintains a proprietary computer data base of recorded sales activity that is widely recognized as the most authoritative source of new housing absorption data in the Clark County area.

The company publishes three diverse monthly housing reports, a monthly newsletter, a nationally recognized annual report, a weekly sales/traffic report, and many custom designed products … all using statistical data available exclusively through it’s highly regarded data base. The company’s reports, and its Principal Mr. Dennis L. Smith, are exclusively and regularly quoted in the regional general and business press, and forecasts and special reports prepared by the firm are utilized in planning by most of those whose business involves housing. Dennis Smith is widely sought as a speaker on housing and housing economics topics, regularly addressing industry trade groups, special interest groups, management groups, directors, investors, securities analysts, and others seeking insight into the Las Vegas and regional housing economics.

Mr. Smith has over 25 years experience selling, marketing, and managing new housing/builder related activities. He assumes the primary responsibility for the analysis activities of Home Builders Research Inc., as well as serving as Chief Executive Officer. He is a two-term director of the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association.
